Mr. Gemelos focuses his practice on bond issues involving healthcare, higher education and non-profit borrowers and has considerable experience with private activity bond issues.  In addition, he oversees Foley & Judell's in-house department responsible for the preparation of offering documents and compliance with post-issuance continuing disclosure obligations.  Since joining the firm, Mr. Gemelos has represented clients in a wide range of public finance transactions with various types of financing structures, including tax-exempt and taxable revenue and general obligation bonds, grant and bond anticipation financings, master trust indenture financings, conduit financings, and current and advance refundings.  He has experience with projects relating to hospitals, higher education, public education, transportation, and ports.

Mr. Gemelos received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans in 2010 and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2013.  During law school, Mr. Gemelos served as a law clerk for the New Orleans City Attorney's Office and the Office of Special Counsel for the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans.  Prior to arriving at Foley & Judell, he spent six years in the real estate title industry and was a licensed title insurance agent.  Mr. Gemelos is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, the Louisiana Bar Association, the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association, and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
