• We have consistently ranked as the top bond counsel firm in Louisiana in both number and aggregate principal amount of tax-exempt bond issues closed each year.

• Each year, we serve as bond counsel on dozens of issues, aggregating billions of dollars in total principal, and coordinate more than 100 elections in various jurisdictions to approve the issuance of bonds, renew or authorize taxes, change home rule charter provisions, or enact other provisions allowed by law.

• Meredith Hathorn currently serves as Chair of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board ("MSRB") and also serves as Chair of the Steering Committee. She is one of the few bond attorneys in the country ever appointed to the MSRB where she lends her valued insight to matters affecting the public finance community.

• Our attorneys have a long history of volunteering with the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the preeminent organization of municipal finance attorneys dedicated to promoting the integrity of the municipal market through the education of its members in the laws affecting state and municipal bonds.  Harold Judell was a member of the Board of Directors and served as President, Susan Weeks and Meredith Hathorn were members of the Board of Directors and each served as Secretary, and Jason Akers currently serves as Treasurer and is a member of the Board of Directors.
